Noah Rosen

Corporate President

Noah joined Kleenco after a 20+ year career in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. During this time Noah moved through roles of increasing responsibility within the sales, marketing, finance and strategic planning functions.

Noah holds an MBA from Syracuse University and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.

Contributing to and supporting the broader community has always been important to Noah. He is a board member of the United Way of Madison County and volunteers at local Animal shelters.

Noah and his wife Christy recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with their two children.


Kurt Tatman

Chief Executive Officer

Kurt Tatman started working for Kleenco while he was a student at Ball State University. Back then, it was known as Kleenco Petroleum Company and was primarily a local company doing underground storage tank removal and smaller-scale construction projects. After Kurt graduated from Ball State, he went to work at the Dial Corporation where, for 10 years, he held a variety of sales and marketing positions. However, Kurt and his family wanted to move home to Alexandria, Indiana so Kurt returned to Kleenco. His vision was to build a company that the community and employees could be proud of.

A true entrepreneur, Kurt understood that the customer’s needs come first. Using the sales and marketing skills he had developed, Kurt began focusing on national customers with multi-site locations. He knew the value of delivering fast, efficient and cost-effective services. He also understood that growth requires collaboration between committed people with various skills and abilities. Together with Jeff Miller and Don Vanhooser, the owners grew Kleenco into a recognized leader in facilities maintenance and constructions services with five (5) offices across the country and which performs work in over 40 states.

Kurt resides in Alexandria, Indiana with his wife and 4 children. His generosity and love for his community is demonstrated through his involvement in and support to numerous local organizations; United Way of Madison County, Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Alternatives, Inc. of Madison County, Beauty for Ashes of Madison County, Madison County 4-H, Fire Rescue House of Madison County, Alexandria Community Center, Alexandria Community Schools (Buddy Bag Food Program/Toy Drive), in addition to the Boy Scouts of America, Special Olympics, Muscular Dystrophy and Cystic Fibrosis.


Jeff Miller

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Miller has been the Chief Operating Officer at Kleenco Maintenance & Construction, Inc., since 2008. He began his career in the insurance and retail industry before returning to Indiana in 1998 to start his own construction and landscaping business. Jeff sold that business and joined Kleenco in 2002. Jeff’s innovative nature and drive have spurred Kleenco to significantly grow its core business divisions. Jeff leads the company’s senior management team and guides them in strategic planning, compliance and best practices decisions to ensure Kleenco’s customers’ needs are met.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Management from the school of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. He resides in Alexandria, Indiana with his wife and 3 children.

Don Vanhooser

Vice President of Field Operations

In 1986, Don Vanhooser co-founded the company that would later be incorporated as Kleenco Petroleum Company and has been an owner of Kleenco Maintenance & Construction, Inc. since. Don serves as Kleenco’s Vice President of Field Operations and oversees the operations of Kleenco’s Centerton, Arkansas office. Using his business and accounting education and background, Don has helped guide Kleenco to achieve its revenue and profit goals.

Don holds a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Anderson University. He is married with 3 children and currently resides in Rogers, Arkansas. Don’s commitment to his Alexandria, Indiana community is demonstrated through Kleenco’s generous support of several Madison County and Alexandria charitable organizations.


Jim Ankrum

Senior Vice President of Operations

Jim brings Kleenco and our Clients 30+ years of experience in the Construction and Engineering Industry. In the late 80's, he gained tremendous field experience as a Field Engineer on bridge and highway projects in Alabama for 3 years.  Returning to Indiana in 1991, Jim and his Teams Designed and Constructed projects that included significant Sitework, Concrete Foundations, Underground Utilities, Process Mechanical and Electrical/Controls.  These projects were completed for Environmental, Treatment Plant and Power Plant Clients across the USA. 

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management in 1988 from Purdue University.  He also holds a Master of Science in Management degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  He obtained this graduate degree in 1991 while working a standard 60 hour week and going to school on nights and weekends for three years.

Jim and wife Michele are both natives of Alexandria, IN where Kleenco is headquartered.  They reside nearby with their four daughters and keep busy with their daughters' academic, athletic and musical pursuits. Through the years, Jim has made a point to give back to the Industry and his Community.  He has served on numerous Construction Industry advisory Boards and currently serves on his local School and Boys and Girls Club Boards.


Todd Stone

Director of Sales

Todd Stone joined Kleenco as its Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2011.
insistence and passion for doing things right for Kleenco’s customers make him an invaluable asset to the Company. No job is too big or too small and each project gets the same level of attention from Todd to ensure that Kleenco always meets the customer’s need for a cost-efficient, timely and quality project. Todd began his sales career directly out of high school when he went to work at L. J. Stone Co., a residential construction company where he was responsible for significantly growing its business.

Todd resides in Muncie, Indiana with his wife and 2 children. Todd is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and running. He regularly gives back to others and helps those with drug and alcohol dependency by serving as a personal mentor. 


Tony Thompson

Vice President of Work Procurement

Tony W. Thompson has been Vice President of Work Procurement and a member of the Executive Management Team at Kleenco Maintenance & Construction, Inc. since 2011. He is responsible for the Company’s policies and procedures for contract management, pricing, and project bid strategy and risk analysis. Tony began his career at Kleenco in 2005, where he was responsible for managing several divisions within the organization; environmental, plumbing, grease trap and asphalt/concrete.

Prior to joining Kleenco, Tony served as an Environmental Science Technician at Strata Environmental performing underground storage tank closures, soil and ground water remediation projects, asbestos building inspections, and site assessments across the country.

Tony studied Environmental Science at Ball State University. He resides in his hometown of Yorktown, Indiana with his wife and 3 children. Tony is an advocate for the local community with his involvement in coaching youth football with Metro Football League and currently serves on the Board of Directors.


Mary Schmid

General Counsel

Mary Schmid has been a member of the senior leadership team as General Counsel at Kleenco Maintenance and Construction, Inc. since June 2013. She is responsible for the Company’s legal and regulatory affairs, ethics, corporate and compliance programs. She is also responsible for corporate activities in the areas of real estate, risk management, safety, human resources and environmental compliance.

Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 1987 and her juris doctorate degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1993. Since 2006, she has also taught as an adjunct professor at the McKinney School of Law where she is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.

She was named to the list of Top 20 attorneys in Indianapolis in 2012 by the Indianapolis Business Journal, was named a Trailblazer by the Indianapolis chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners in 2011 and regularly lectures at continuing legal education courses.

She resides in Carmel, Indiana with her husband and is the proud mom and stepmom to three children and proud grandma (Mimi) to three grandchildren. Mary loves to give back to the community with her involvement with various student programs at the McKinney School of Law, and her service as a past Board Member for the St. Mary’s Child Center. She is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
